Recently, the Baiyun Integrated Energy Storage Demonstration Project (Baiyun Base), developed by the National New Energy Storage Innovation Center (NESC), was successfully connected to the grid, marking a critical step forward in China's construction of a highly resilient new power system. As the only national-level manufacturing innovation center in China's new energy storage field, this initiative by NESC represents a profound implementation of the national energy storage strategy. EVE Energy, with its leading large-capacity battery technology and solutions, has deeply contributed to this national demonstration project, injecting solid momentum into the energy security and green transition of the Greater Bay Area.

The collaboration between EVE Energy and NESC began with co-founding the center and has matured into strategic synergy. Both parties are committed to bridging the innovation chain from R&D to application. The trend toward larger-capacity batteries is a core pathway for the industry to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance system safety and lifespan. In December 2024, coinciding with the commissioning of EVE Energy's 60 GWh super energy storage factory, the two parties further signed an agreement to jointly promote the large-scale testing and application of ultra-large-capacity batteries, such as the 628Ah model, at the national demonstration base.
Currently, EVE Energy's 628Ah large-capacity energy storage battery technology has been successfully deployed at the Baiyun Base, serving as a "touchstone" for defining the next generation of energy storage technical standards. EVE's large battery systems will provide the essential platform for validating the performance of key technologies such as grid-forming support, long-duration storage, and safety early warning. Through long-term, complex, and planned validation in real-world grid environments, they aim to solve the industry's challenge of "lack of real-world validation" and help establish authoritative technical standards.

The grid connection of the Baiyun Base is a crucial practice demonstrating how new energy storage supports the construction of the new power system. Looking ahead, EVE Energy will continue to deepen strategic cooperation with NESC and industry chain partners. With its energy storage products characterized by "large capacity, long lifespan, and high safety," EVE aims to build the "ballast stone" for the future energy system, serving the national "Dual Carbon" strategy and contributing Chinese wisdom and strength to global sustainable energy development.
