Today, the 6th Technical Exchange Meeting of Water Meter Working Committee of China Metrology Association was officially held. EVE brought a full range of smart water meter power supply solutions. Cao Lang, technical director of EVE, was invited to attend and publish a keynote speech on "How to Build a Highly Reliable Smart Water Meter Power Supply".

Smart water is an important part of the development of smart city. With the acceleration of the construction of smart city, the demand for smart water meter is constantly rising. As the core component, the technological progress of lithium battery will boost the development of new infrastructure of smart city.

At the meeting, Cao Lang, technical director of EVE, delivered a keynote speech on "How to Build a Highly Reliable Smart Water Meter Power Supply". He pointed out that as the markets functional requirements for smart water meters increase, higher requirements for smart water meter power solutions have also been proposed. Current power solutions for smart water meters are gradually developing towards high reliability, high stability and long life.

 

Mr. Cao shared that as a comprehensive power solution provider for the IoT, EVE has a highly reliable smart water meter power solution that has won a high degree of trust in the market for its advanced technology advantages and high quality. The ER+SPC hybrid power solution independently developed by EVE has more than 8 years of practical experience in the application of smart water meters, which has received good market feedback. Based on ER26500+SPC1520 power solution, high-standard tests such as effective capacity, self-discharge rate, wide temperature adaptability, high temperature and high humidity test and other reliability tests have been carried out. The test results turn out that this hybrid solution can meet a service life of more than 10 years, the annual self-discharge rate is less than 2%, and can be applied to the temperature range from -30to +70. EVEs hybrid power solution has the characteristics of long life, high reliability, good stability and safety.
